Properties:

Carboxy Methyl Cellulose(CMC) use widely in ceramics industry as an additives.It act for strengthen.moistuer retain,binding,suspension,dilution in simefinished base of ceramics,glazepulp and figure glaze of ceramics.

Application:

1, TPXXX for simefinished base:The plastivity and antibreak strength of simefinished base will be increased when use CMC.CMC have good character of less quantity (1/3-1/4) for joined no residues.It's suitable for simefinished base of polishing bricks and big size glassy bricks.The method of application.First dissolve CMC in water,then mixed with pulp in ball mill.

2, TUXXX for glaze pulp:CMC add into glaze pulp,acting for moisture retain,suspension,binding,dilution.It will keep the glaze granular not precipitate from the solution,and control the fluidity of glaze pulp,increase the binding force of base and glaze,up the strength of glaze level,keep out of come off glaze,glaze loss,running off,glaze drain and stripped.The surface of glaze will be smooth.Normally 0.08%-0.12% CMC was added in glaze pulp.Choice the CMC grades according to viscosity of glaze pulp.The antiseptic also appended if the glaze pulp keep long time storage.
3, Use for figure glaze:CMC mainly use to printing glaze pulp and bleeding figure glaze.CMC as carrier of glaze in printing,owing to CMC have good thicken,dispersion and have little viscosity.TH1011 and TH410 have transparency after dissolved in water,no insoluble matter.It's not easy to happy net block during operating.
Suggestion for dissolve:

First put CMC in glycerine or diethyl glycol,high speedy stir then adding water under stir and mixed with glaze.Also suggested,if operating in colloid mill or emulsifying machine.
